Austin-Lehman Adventures Unveils 2014 Multi-Sport Vacations

Austin-Lehman Adventures released new programs for 2014, including a much expanded series of trips in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Antarctica and the Pacific. The company added 23 new trips for 2014, bringing its total to 100.

The 40-year old tour operator now offers tours on six continents and says it is working on the seventh: Asia. Included in the trip roster are multi-generational, multi-sport, hiking, paddling, cycling, safari and small ship cruising programs. The selection is shifting year-to-year based on customer feedback.

"We talk to our alumni and take to heart where they would like to go next," said Austin-Lehman founder Dan Austin. "We also hear how they want to spend their precious vacation time. This year you will see a return of our walking/ hiking emphasis as well as more family programs – plus a new small ship luxury cruise in Australia."

New walking programs for 2014 include Glamping along Peru's Inca Trail, Provence in France, Bavaria in Germany, Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park, Botswana and Morocco. The company is offering new family programs to Montana, Belize, southern Australia and Botswana. New multisport adventures are available in Austria/Slovenia, Spain, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania and the Republic of Congo. New biking tours are available in Catalonia, Spain; Argentina's wine country and the Canadian Rockies. And a new small ship cruise adventure explores the coast and islands of Western Australia.
